Balloon vs bubble: which breathing game helps kids with pneumonia?

NCT ID NCT07578870

First seen May 16, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study tests two simple breathing exercises—blowing balloons and using a bubble device—to see which one better improves oxygen levels and reduces breathlessness in children aged 6 to 12 with pneumonia. Forty children will try these techniques over one week, and researchers will also measure how much they enjoy the therapy. The goal is to find a fun, drug-free way to help kids breathe easier.
