First seen Feb 02, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study tests two different exercise programs to improve balance and walking in people with diabetic peripheral neuropathy (nerve damage in the feet). 80 adults aged 40-75 with diabetes and nerve damage will be randomly assigned to either sensory re-education or proprioceptive training. Both groups also receive standard care. The goal is to see which approach better reduces fall risk and improves daily function.
