First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study looks at how analyzing fluid from the lungs (called bronchoalveolar lavage) can help doctors tell different types of interstitial lung diseases apart. About 66 adults with suspected ILD will undergo a bronchoscopy to collect this fluid. The goal is to see if the types of cells in the fluid match up with CT scans and help guide treatment decisions.
