Summary
This study tested a bacterial vaccine spray (MV130) taken daily under the tongue for 12 months in 198 adults with moderate to severe COPD. The goal was to see if it could reduce the number and severity of lung flare-ups compared to a placebo. Researchers also monitored safety and quality of life during the 18-month study period.
