First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study tested whether the antibiotic azithromycin can help children with steroid-sensitive nephrotic syndrome achieve remission faster and reduce relapses. 160 children aged 2 to 14 took part. The goal was to see if adding azithromycin to standard care improves early remission and lowers the chance of future flare-ups.
