New combo therapy shows promise in brain cancer trial

This study tested whether adding the drug azeliragon to standard radiation and chemotherapy (temozolomide) is safe and shows early signs of working in people with newly diagnosed glioblastoma, a fast-growing brain cancer. 33 participants received the combination.
