Summary
This early-stage trial is testing a new drug called AZD1390 combined with radiation therapy in children and young adults with aggressive brain tumors (high-grade glioma, diffuse midline glioma, or DIPG). The drug works by blocking the cancer cells' ability to repair damage caused by radiation, potentially making the treatment more effective. The study aims to find the safest dose and check for side effects in about 54 participants. It is not a cure, but a step toward better controlling these hard-to-treat cancers.
