First seen Apr 05, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study tests a special heart valve that can be made bigger as a child grows, possibly avoiding repeat surgeries. It involves 36 children aged 18 months to 16 years who need a new pulmonary valve. The valve is placed during surgery and can later be expanded using a catheter. Researchers will check safety and how well the valve works over 10 years.
