First seen Apr 05, 2026 · Last updated Apr 26, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests a special heart valve that can be adjusted to fit a child's growing body, potentially reducing the need for multiple surgeries. It involves 36 children aged 1.5 to 16 years with congenital heart disease who need a new pulmonary valve. The valve is placed during surgery and can later be expanded using a catheter to match the child's growth.
