Scientists hunt for hidden culprits in mysterious brain inflammation
NCT ID NCT07477015
Summary
This study aims to better understand how autoimmune encephalitis, a disease where the immune system attacks the brain, develops. Researchers will study blood samples from about 20 adult patients with different forms of the disease, including those where no cause has been found. The main goal is to discover new antibodies that might explain the illness in patients who currently have no diagnosis.
