First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study is testing whether a quick, non-invasive eye-tracking test can help screen for autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental delays in babies as young as 9 months old. Researchers will use a mobile device to measure how infants look at social scenes, then follow up at 24 months to see if the test accurately predicted their diagnosis. The goal is to make early screening easier and more accessible in community settings.
