Summary
This study tested a single injection called AURN001 for people with corneal edema, a condition where the clear front of the eye swells, causing cloudy vision. Researchers compared different doses in 97 participants to see if the treatment was safe and could improve eyesight over six months. The goal was to find a potential alternative to corneal transplant surgery for this vision-impairing condition.
