First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This research study looks at how children and adults with cochlear or auditory brainstem implants understand speech and other sounds. Participants will listen to words, sentences, and tones, and researchers will measure how accurately they identify them. The goal is to better understand hearing with these devices, not to test a new treatment.
