Summary
This research study is for adults and children (ages 2 and up) who are deaf and use a cochlear implant or auditory brainstem implant. The goal is to understand how these devices help people hear and process sounds like speech and pitch. Participants will complete listening tasks and may have brain activity measured. The study does not offer a treatment or cure, but aims to improve future hearing technology.
