Summary
This study tested two audio-based digital programs to help adults with moderate or worse depression. 101 participants were randomly assigned to either a behavioral activation program or a self-monitoring program. Depression symptoms were measured before, during, and after the 2-week intervention, with a follow-up at 5 weeks. The goal was to see if these simple audio tools could reduce depression symptoms.
