New study tests Long-Acting HIV shots and peer support for teens

Summary
This study looks at whether peer navigation (support from other teens) and long-acting injectable HIV medication can help adolescents in South Africa keep the virus under control and stay in care. About 720 teens aged 12-19 who already take HIV pills will take part. The goal is to see if these approaches improve viral suppression and regular clinic visits over 18-24 months.
