New study tracks heart risks in rare amyloidosis patients on tafamidis

Summary
This study follows 200 adults with ATTR amyloidosis who are taking the drug tafamidis. Researchers will check every six months for heart rhythm problems that might need a pacemaker or defibrillator. The goal is to learn how often these issues occur and improve monitoring in routine care.
