Massive study tracks 2000 patients after heart rhythm surgery

Summary
This study is creating a registry to observe and document the real-world care of 2,000 patients who undergo heart surgery to treat atrial fibrillation (an irregular heartbeat). It aims to understand how often and why this surgery is performed, how safe and effective it is, and what medications patients take afterward. The study does not test a new treatment but collects information to improve future care.
