Computer simulations could revolutionize atrial fibrillation treatment
NCT ID NCT05057507
First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study aims to classify patients with atrial fibrillation based on the electrical patterns in their hearts using computer simulations, rather than just how long they've had the condition. Researchers will study 91 people already scheduled for a heart procedure to see if this new method can help guide more targeted treatments. The goal is to improve how we understand and treat this common heart rhythm problem.
