NCT ID NCT05998135

First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 32 times

Summary

This study tests whether atovaquone, a drug normally used for infections, can help people with a type of ovarian cancer that no longer responds to standard platinum chemotherapy. About 28 adults with platinum-resistant high-grade serous ovarian cancer will take atovaquone. The goal is to see if it can slow cancer growth or shrink tumors better than current treatments.
