World's first controlled trial tests whether ATLS training actually saves trauma patients

Summary
This study aims to find out if doctors who complete Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) training can save more lives of adult trauma patients compared to standard care. Over 4,000 patients in Indian hospitals will be included. Researchers will track deaths within 30 days of arriving at the emergency room.
