Summary

This study aims to collect blood or tissue samples and medical information from 1,000 adults with spinocerebellar ataxia or other nucleotide repeat diseases (excluding Huntington's disease), as well as their unaffected family members. The goal is to build a research repository to better understand the genetic causes and how these diseases affect people over time. No new treatments are being tested; this is purely an observational research effort.
