Scientists investigate why asthma drug fails for some patients
NCT ID NCT05495932
Summary
This study aimed to understand why some severe asthma patients don't respond well to the medication mepolizumab. Researchers measured drug levels in the blood of 50 patients who were already receiving this treatment. They compared drug concentrations between patients who responded well to treatment and those who didn't, hoping to find clues about treatment effectiveness.
