Summary
This study tested a program called BREATHE-Peds that helps teens (ages 10-14) and their caregivers make decisions together about managing asthma. The goal was to improve asthma control in urban youth with uncontrolled asthma. Researchers worked with 67 participants from community health centers to see if the shared decision-making approach could lead to better asthma management.
