Summary
This study tested a program called BREATHE-Peds that helps teens (ages 10-14) and their caregivers make decisions together about managing asthma. The goal was to improve asthma control in urban youth with uncontrolled asthma. Researchers worked with 67 families at health centers to see if shared decision-making could lead to better symptom management and quality of life.
