New hope for Hard-to-Treat cancers: first human trial of AST-201 begins

Summary
This study tests a new drug called AST-201 in people with advanced solid tumors that have a protein called GPC3. The main goal is to check the drug's safety and find the right dose. About 70 adults with liver or lung cancer that has not responded to other treatments will take part.
