Robot pancreas trial aims to protect diabetic hearts

Summary

This study is testing whether using an artificial pancreas system can improve heart and blood vessel health in people with type 1 diabetes. The artificial pancreas is a wearable device that automatically manages blood sugar. Researchers will measure heart health markers in 40 adults to see if better blood sugar control leads to better cardiovascular function.
