Nanomechanical biopsy could revolutionize pancreatic cancer care

NCT ID NCT07542041

First seen Apr 30, 2026 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study tests a new technology called NEO-Match® that measures the stiffness of pancreatic tissue from a biopsy sample. Researchers want to see if this test can predict how well a patient will respond to cancer treatment and help diagnose pancreatic cancer more accurately. About 200 adults with suspected pancreatic cancer will provide an extra biopsy sample during their standard care and be followed for up to 2 years. The study does not change or interfere with standard treatment.
