First seen Jan 24, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This early study tests a new injection called ART002g1 in 24 adults with a genetic form of high cholesterol (heterozygous familial hypercholesterolemia). The injection uses gene editing to lower a protein that raises cholesterol levels. The main goal is to check safety and how well the body tolerates it, while also seeing if it reduces cholesterol.
