NCT ID NCT07157501
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 17, 2026 · Updated 36 times
Summary
This study looked at whether aromatherapy (using scents) or acupressure (applying pressure to specific points on the body) can reduce pain and improve sleep in 100 children aged 6 to 12 who had abdominal surgeries like appendix removal or hernia repair. The goal was to find simple, non-drug ways to help kids recover more comfortably. The study is complete, and results will show which method worked better for easing pain and improving sleep.
