First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study looked at whether aromatherapy (using scents) or acupressure (applying pressure to certain points on the body) can help children aged 6 to 12 feel less pain and sleep better after abdominal surgeries like appendix removal or hernia repair. 100 children took part. The goal was to see if these gentle methods could improve recovery without extra medicine.
