First seen Mar 29, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study looks at how using arm support (like a cane or walker) changes the way people who have had a stroke walk. About 34 adults who had a stroke will walk on a special treadmill with no support, one-arm support, and two-arm support. The goal is to learn which support method helps improve walking speed, step length, and rhythm, so physical therapists can create better rehab plans.
