Summary
This study looked at whether adding extra arm exercises to standard rehab helps stroke survivors recover arm movement. It compared a custom exercise program designed by a therapist to using a movable wheelchair arm rest that moves the arm back and forth. 35 people who had a stroke within the past month took part. The goal was to see which method improves arm function and reduces stiffness.
