First seen Jan 14, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study tested an experimental drug called ARC-520 in adults with chronic hepatitis B who were already taking standard antiviral medications. The goal was to see if adding ARC-520 could further reduce hepatitis B surface antigen levels in the blood. The trial was stopped early, but results may help guide future treatments for this long-term liver infection.
