First seen May 11, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study looked at whether an augmented reality app can provoke similar arm movements as standard therapy exercises in people who had a stroke and in healthy older adults. 28 participants performed both therapy exercises and app games while wearing motion sensors. The goal was to understand how well the app could support home-based rehabilitation.
