First seen Dec 08, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study tested if gentle physiotherapy in warm water (34-36°C) can lower stress and improve sleep in adults on sick leave due to stress. 28 people were randomly assigned to either 8 weeks of twice-weekly water therapy or their usual care. The main goal was to see if stress levels dropped, measured by a standard questionnaire.
