Summary
This early-stage study tests a new drug, AOH1996, in 12 adults whose acute myeloid leukemia (AML) has returned or not responded to standard treatments. The main goals are to find a safe dose and check for side effects. AOH1996 works by blocking a protein that cancer cells need to grow and repair their DNA, which may help stop the cancer.
