Summary
This study tested whether a special digital tool, designed like a friendly interactive character, could help reduce anxiety in children and their parents before surgery. Researchers compared this digital tool to the standard educational materials hospitals usually provide. They measured anxiety levels in the waiting room and also looked at how children woke up from anesthesia.
