First seen Mar 18, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study looks at the best way to use blood thinners after a minimally invasive heart valve repair (TEER) in people with mitral regurgitation who also need long-term blood thinners for conditions like atrial fibrillation. About 880 participants will be randomly assigned to different blood thinner plans, and researchers will track bleeding complications for one year. The goal is to find a strategy that reduces bleeding risk while still preventing clots.
