Hidden antibodies in healthy people: a clue to future heart trouble?
NCT ID NCT02803645
Summary
This study aimed to understand the role of certain antibodies found in healthy people. Researchers tested over 1,200 healthy blood donors to see if having these antibodies was linked to known risk factors for heart disease, body-wide inflammation, or cellular stress. The goal was to gather knowledge, not to provide treatment, to see if these antibodies could be an early warning sign for future health problems.
