NCT ID NCT02508012

First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study looked at whether regularly measuring levels of anti-TNF drugs and antibodies in the blood helps doctors make better treatment decisions for people with Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis. 260 patients were split into two groups: one where doctors used these test results to adjust treatment, and one where they did not. The goal was to see if monitoring improved quality of life and was cost-effective over two years.
