Summary
This study tested an anti-CGRP antibody in 26 adults with trigeminal or glossopharyngeal nerve pain caused by small fiber neuropathy or fibromyalgia. The goal was to reduce pain and the need for other pain medications, while also checking safety. The drug, already used for migraines, was given to see if it could calm nerve inflammation and ease pain.
