Shorter hospital stays tested for kids with severe eating disorder
NCT ID NCT04479683
Summary
This study compares two treatment approaches for children aged 8-13 with severe anorexia nervosa. One group receives traditional longer hospital stays, while the other gets shorter hospital stays followed by weekly day treatment. Researchers want to see if the shorter hospital approach works as well for helping children reach a healthy weight while being less disruptive to their lives.
