Summary

This study looked at how often word-retrieval therapy should be given to help stroke survivors with aphasia (trouble finding words). 32 Veterans who had a stroke at least 6 months earlier took part. Researchers tested different therapy schedules and used brain scans and language tests to see what predicts who improves most.
