Summary

This study tested whether a specific ankle joint manipulation technique could improve muscle structure in people recovering from stroke. Researchers used ultrasound imaging to measure changes in ankle muscles after the manipulation compared to a placebo treatment. The trial involved 36 stroke survivors who were at least six months post-stroke and had moderate recovery.
