Summary

This study aims to find out which of two common anesthesia approaches is safer for the heart when frail patients over 65 have a painless stomach exam. Researchers will compare lighter 'conscious sedation' with deeper 'general anesthesia' in 226 elderly patients. The main goal is to see which method leads to fewer heart rate and blood pressure problems during the procedure.
