Summary
This study looked at 50,000 adults who had non-cardiac surgery under general anesthesia to see if the type of anesthesia drugs used affected their risk of serious heart or brain problems afterward. The goal was to find out if certain anesthesia methods are safer. The study was stopped early, so results may be limited.
