First seen Apr 17, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study tests whether treating anemia with iron, vitamins, and medication can help people recover from a serious heart infection called infective endocarditis. About 74 adults with both the infection and anemia will receive either standard care or additional anemia treatment. The goal is to see if this extra treatment improves their ability to walk and overall recovery.
