NCT ID NCT07523646

First seen Apr 17, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding anemia treatment (iron, vitamins, and a hormone that boosts red blood cells) to standard care helps people with a serious heart valve infection feel better and recover faster. About 74 adults with both the infection and anemia will be enrolled. The main goal is to see if they can walk farther after three months compared to those getting usual care alone.
