New hope for cancer fatigue: drug plus lifestyle changes tested

NCT ID NCT03035409

First seen Nov 10, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study tests whether a drug called anamorelin, combined with physical activity and nutritional counseling, can ease severe fatigue in people with advanced solid tumors that cannot be cured. About 129 participants will receive the combination for several weeks, and researchers will measure changes in fatigue levels using a standard questionnaire. The goal is to improve daily energy and quality of life, not to treat the cancer itself.
